REFETTORIO AMBROSIANO | CARITAS

The Refettorio Ambrosiano is a charity project that we conceived in collaboration with Massimo Bottura’s Osteria Francescana, Diocese of Milan and Caritas Ambrosiana.

During the six months of the Expo, an old, abandoned theatre on the outskirts of Milan became a stage for the greatest chefs in the world who, on a rotating basis, prepared dishes for Caritas guests using food surpluses. 

Making this place “beautiful” as well as “good” was a task that we accomplished with the collaboration of famous designers and artists of the international scene who, by donating their works, made it possible for the values of beauty, art and culture to be shared around a dining table.
